Gurugram, May 13, 2026:  Aarti Singh Rao, Haryana’s Minister for Health, Medical Education, Research, and AYUSH, said that politics for her is not merely about holding office but a means to serve the people.

She emphasized that the trust and blessings of citizens continue to motivate her to work with greater dedication.

She was addressing a gathering at the induction ceremony of  Manoj Mokalwas, the newly appointed Chairman of the Market Committee, held at Jatauli Mandi on Wednesday. Pataudi MLA Bimla Chaudhary was also present on the occasion.

Aarti Singh Rao emphasized public connect and accountability:

After inaugurating the Chairman’s office, Aarti Singh Rao said that since becoming an MLA and later a Cabinet Minister, her priority has been to stay connected with the people.

Over the past one-and-a-half years, she has actively engaged with residents to understand their concerns and work toward solutions.

She noted that while there were initial doubts among people regarding access to her, consistent interaction and on-ground presence have helped build trust. She stressed that the role of a public representative goes beyond making announcements—it requires standing with people in times of need and fulfilling their expectations.

Highlighting the government’s efforts, the Minister said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, the state is committed to providing modern, accessible, and quality healthcare services across Haryana.

She stated that the focus is on strengthening medical infrastructure so that citizens can access quality treatment within their own districts.

The government aims to expand advanced healthcare facilities not just in cities but also in rural areas.

Aarti Singh Rao added that steps are being taken to ensure the availability of modern medical equipment, specialist doctors, and basic amenities in hospitals.

Rs 10 meal scheme for farmers and workers:

During the event, the Minister announced the launch of an ‘Atal Kisan Mazdoor Canteen’ at Pataudi-Jatauli Mandi during the upcoming procurement season.

Under this initiative, farmers, laborers, and visitors will be provided nutritious meals at a subsidized rate of Rs 10 per plate.

Aarti Singh Rao said the scheme aims to ensure that people visiting mandis do not face difficulties in accessing basic necessities like food.

Several prominent figures attended the program, including BJP Gurugram Metropolitan District President Ajit Yadav, Pataudi SDM Dinesh Luhach, District Council Chief Dipali Chaudhary, Manesar Mayor Dr. Indrajit Yadav, and several other local leaders and officials.
