Chandigarh, May 7, 2026: A group of six IAS probationers from the 2025 batch, allotted to the Haryana cadre, called on Haryana Governor Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh at Lok Bhavan on Thursday.
During the interaction, the Governor encouraged the young officers to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, commitment, and a strong sense of public service.
He urged them to work towards bringing positive and meaningful change in society through their administrative roles.
Governor Ashim Kumar Ghosh emphasizes integrity and good governance:
Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh advised the probationers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability in public administration.
He stressed the importance of ensuring efficient governance, timely implementation of welfare schemes, and effective delivery of public services to the people.
The Governor also highlighted the need for officers to remain dedicated to public welfare and developmental initiatives while carrying out their official responsibilities.

Encouraging the officers to maintain a people-centric approach, the Governor asked them to serve citizens with empathy and sensitivity.
He emphasized that welfare schemes should be implemented in their true spirit after the completion of their training.
Extending his best wishes, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh expressed confidence that the young officers would contribute significantly to the administration and development of the state during their careers in public service.

The IAS probationers who attended the interaction were Amitej Pangtey, Muskan Srivastava, Shivani Panchal, Soham Shailendra, Vishal Singh, and Vivek Yadav.
The interaction formed part of the probationers’ orientation and familiarization process following their allocation to the Haryana cadre.
