Gurugram, June 23, 2026: A review meeting of the Revenue Department was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh, during which officials assessed the progress of pending revenue cases, revenue collection, and various administrative procedures across the district.

During the meeting, Uttam Singh conducted a detailed review of Jamabandi (land records), land demarcation cases, mutation applications, revenue recovery proceedings, and cases pending in revenue courts.

He directed officials to ensure the timely disposal of all pending matters and emphasized that efficient revenue services and prompt relief to citizens remain key administrative priorities.

Uttam Singh instructed officials for revenue recovery:

While reviewing pending recovery cases, the DC instructed officials to gather complete details regarding the immovable properties of entities facing recovery proceedings.

He further directed that when assets are spread across multiple tehsils, concerned Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars should coordinate with one another to expedite the recovery process.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, revenue recovery should not remain confined to a single tehsil, and all concerned revenue offices must work collectively.

Uttam Singh instructed revenue officials to dispose of pending cases in revenue courts on merit and within a reasonable time frame.

He stated that providing timely justice to the public is an important responsibility of the administration and stressed that unnecessary delays should be avoided.

The DC also directed officials to eliminate unnecessary pendency in mutation cases, dispose of applications according to prescribed rules, regularly monitor land demarcation matters, and ensure efficient delivery of revenue-related services.

Officials present at the meeting:

The meeting was attended by several senior administrative officials, including Sanjeev Singla, SDM Badshahpur; Hitendra Kumar, SDM Gurugram; Dinesh Luhach, SDM Pataudi; Darshan Yadav, SDM Manesar; Akhilesh Yadav, SDM Sohna; and Vijay Yadav, District Revenue Officer.
