Gurugram, April 27, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh effectively addressed the citizens’ grievances during a ‘Samadhan Shivir’ (Resolution Camp) held at the conference hall of the Mini Secretariat in Gurugram on Monday.

Residents from various parts of the district participated in the camp to present their concerns, which mainly pertained to issues related to Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), pensions, and revenue matters.

Uttam Singh listened attentively to the grievances and directed officials from the concerned departments to take immediate action.

He emphasized that the administration’s foremost priority is to resolve the timeframe, thereby strengthening trust between citizens and the administration.

During the camp, several complaints were resolved on the spot, while in other cases, officials were instructed to obtain necessary documents within a fixed timeline to ensure timely resolution.

Uttam Singh directed officials to expedite works to resolve pending cases:

Uttam Singh further directed all departments to prioritize pending cases and ensure that complaints are informed once their issues are resolved.

Uttam Singh also highlighted that similar resolution camps are being organized at the sub-divisional level every Monday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, encouraging citizens to actively participate and avail themselves of this facility.

Participants appreciated the initiative, stating that such camps provide a valuable platform to directly communicate their grievances to officials.

They noted that these efforts not only enhance transparency and communication but also make the grievance redressal process more efficient and accessible.

The mayor laid the foundation of a drain in Manesar:

In another development, Mayor Dr. Inderjit Kaur Yadav laid the foundation stone for the construction of an RCC drain in Ward-3, stretching from Salig Ki Dhani to Hayatpur village, by ceremonially breaking a coconut on Monday.

The project, to be undertaken by the Manesar Municipal Corporation, will be executed at a cost of Rs 1.31 crore. Upon completion, it is expected to permanently resolve the persistent problem of waterlogging in the area.

Addressing the gathering, the Mayor stated that the Corporation remains committed to providing essential amenities to residents, with a focus on expanding basic infrastructure across all wards.

She emphasized that the objective is not only to initiate development works but also to ensure their timely and high-quality completion.

Highlighting the long-standing issue, she noted that waterlogging between Salig Ki Dhani and Hayatput had been a major concern for residents, particularly during the monsoon season when the situation would worsen significantly.

The construction of the RCC drain, she said, will offer a permanent solution to drainage issues and contribute to improving sanitation in the locality.

The Municipal Corporation continues to work towards strengthening core infrastructure within its jurisdiction.

The Mayor also appealed to citizens to cooperate during the construction phase and actively participate in safeguarding public assets.

Local residents expressed their gratitude to the Mayor, acknowledging the initiative as a significant step toward improving living conditions in the area.
