CM Samrat Choudhary reviews welfare schemes at Sahyog Shivir in Siwan and Kaimur.

Patna, June 16, 2026: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary reviewed the implementation of public welfare schemes during a Sahyog Shivir outreach program held in Siwan and Kaimur districts on Tuesday.

During the camps, he instructed officials to ensure the prompt resolution of grievances raised by citizens and emphasized time-bound implementation of development projects.

According to Samrat Choudhary, approximately 90% of applications received through the outreach initiative have already been processed.

Out of around 3.03 lakh applications submitted so far, nearly 2.61 lakh have reportedly been resolved.

The state government described the Sahyog Shivir initiative as an effort to ensure that government schemes and services reach the last person in the queue.

At the Siwan event, Samrat Choudhary inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 38 development projects worth around Rs 180 crore through remote inauguration.

Earlier in the day in Kaimur, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 60 projects across various departments worth approximately Rs 196.06 crore.

Samrat Choudhary made major announcements on welfare and employment:

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the Bihar government remains committed to the empowerment of poor families, Dalits, farmers, youth and marginalized communities.

He announced that the installation of solar power systems in homes of 25 lakh Dalit families, a target to provide jobs and employment opportunities to 1 crore people by 2030, a plan for establishing a sugar mill in Siwan, and strengthening healthcare services across the state.

Samrat Choudhary stated that the vision of Vikshit Bharat and a prosperous Bihar would be achieved through public participation and good governance.

Tourism push in Kaimur:  

During the Kaimur program, Samrat Choudhary also announced several tourism-related initiatives for the region.

These include renovation of Maa Mundeshwari Dham, construction of a ropeway for pilgrims, airport development in the region, and introduction of helicopter services to promote tourism.

He said the government’s priority is to complete development projects transparently, with quality standards and within stipulated timelines.

During the visit to Kaimur, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the historic Maa Mundeshwari Dham temple.

He described the shrine as a symbol of Bihar’s rich cultural, spiritual, and architectural heritage, noting that the temple represents more than a thousand years of history and tradition.

He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and the welfare of the people of Bihar.
