Gurugram, May 22, 2026: A weekly review meeting regarding the ongoing ‘Samadhan Shivirs’ was held on Friday at the Mini Secretariat auditorium under the chairmanship of SDM Hitendra Kumar. During the meeting, officials were instructed to ensure the prompt and time-bound resolution of complaints received through the grievance redressal camps.
Prior to the district-level meeting, senior IAS officer Dr. Raj Shekhar Vundru, Additional Chief Secretary of the Transport Department, conducted a video conference from Chandigarh with Deputy Commissioners across the state.
Officials are aiming to resolve issues of complainants during the Samadhan Shivirs:
The meeting reviewed the status of pending complaints, departmental responsibilities, and progress made under the Samadhan Shivirs initiative.
Reviewing the complaints in detail, SDM Hitendra Kumar directed officials to immediately upload action taken reports on the designated portal so that citizens can remain informed about the status of their grievance. He stressed that negligence in updating records would not be tolerated.
The SDM emphasized that complaint at the Samadhan Shivirs’ should not be treated merely as a procedural formality. Instead, officials were asked to identify the root causes of problems and ensure permanent solutions that provide meaningful relief to the public.

He said the Samadhan Shivirs have become an effective platform for strengthening communication and trust between the administration and citizens, as people can access officials from multiple departments in one place without repeatedly visiting government offices.
Highlighting the importance of public service, Hitendra Kumar stated that timely grievance redressal is not only an administrative duty but also a moral responsibility.
He instructed departments to regularly monitor complaints and expedite the disposal of pending cases with sensitivity and seriousness.
Officials present at the meeting include CTM Jyoti Nagpal, DRO Vijay Yadav, DDPO Navneet Kaur, Medical Officer Priyanka, and Deputy DEO Deepti Bokan.
Employment fair to be held in May 2026:
Meanwhile, the Divisional Employment Office Gurugram will organize a job fair on May 26 at 9 am at the Mini Secretariat premises.
Several companies, including Edubridge India Private Limited, Startek, Fiveforce Security Private Limited, Transport Corporation of India, and BharatPe, will participate in the fair.
The employment fair will offer opportunities for candidates with qualifications ranging from 10th and 12th pass to IIT, diploma, graduate, and postgraduate degrees.
Interested candidates have been advised to carry their employment registration card, educational certificates, and resume to participate in the recruitment process.
