Nitish Kumar extends Eid greetings, joins prayers at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan.

Patna March 31, 2025: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar congratulated on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr on Monday. He participated in the Eid celebrations at Patna’s historic Gandhi Maidan, where a large number of people gathered for the Namaz.
CM Nitish Kumar’s participation:
Nitish Kumar, wore a traditional cap, symbolizing unity with the Muslim community. He prayed with hands raised and extended warm Eid Mubarak wishes.
Kumar was accompanied by Rural Work Department Minister Ashok Choudhary.
The Namaz was offered at 7.30 AM at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan, the main venue of the city.

“Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state and the country, especially to my Muslim brothers and sisters. May god shower his blessings on all of us on this auspicious day and bring happiness, peace and prosperity to the state,” Kumar said.
Governor Arif Mohammad Khan’s Eid wishes:
Bihar governor Arif Mohammad Khan also extended his greetings via X (Twitter).
“Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the countrymen and people of Bihar on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This festival teaches us self-restraint, sacrifice and generosity. Let us pledge to build a civilized, harmonious and inclusive society,” Khan said.
To ensure a peaceful Eid celebration, the Bihar government deployed 425 magistrates across Patna, police forces stationed at key squares, and high security near mosques and prayer grounds.
Mass prayers were held in mosques and Eidgahs across the state.
Festivities marked with charity, Communal harmony and grand feast. The event reflects Bihar’s rich tradition of religious harmony.
