Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Open Door Policy:

When asked if his door was open for Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav stated, “My door is always open. If he returns, I will forgive him. Forgiving has always been my job, and I’ll do it again. Everyone will work together.”

This response reflects Lalu’s pragmatic approach, recognizing Nitish Kumar as a seasoned political figure who could strengthen the RJD’s position in the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections.

Tejaswi Yadav’s firm opposition:

In sharp contrast, Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly and RJD’s second-in-command, has dismissed any possibility of an alliance with Nitish Kumar. During the swearing-in ceremony of Bihar’s new Governor Tejashwi reiterated his earlier stance.

He said earlier, “Our door is closed for Nitish Kumar forever. We do not need him.”

Tejashwi added, “There is nothing left in him now. The people of Bihar trust me, and this time, we will form the government on our own.”

This steadfast rejection signals Tejashwi’s confidence in his independent political appeal and his belief that the RJD can achieve electoral success without external alliances.

The differing stances of Lalu Prasad and Tejashwi Yadav highlight a potential generational divide within the RJD.
