Patna March 17, 2025: In a strategic move ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, the Indian National Congress (INC) has appointed seven key officials to coordinate with leaders and media persons.
According to a letter issued by Pawan Khera, the chairman of the media and Publicity Wing of Congress on March 17 (Monday), the party has appointed a national media coordinator, two research coordinators and four coordinators.
As per the list, Abhay Dubey has been appointed as the national media coordinator to handle national-level media communication.
Priyanka Gupta, Prakash Meena, Ritu Singh, and Teena Karamveer are coordinators to work closely with the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) for smooth media operations.
Two research coordinators Jyoti Kumar Singh and Satyendra Singh Raghav will have jobs in hand to manage political analysis and data-driven strategies.
Congress strengthening its Bihar unit:
The grand old party’s central leadership recently changed the state in charge, appointing Krishna Allavaru to lead the efforts. Alka Lamba, the National Women President, has also been given a crucial role to connect with women voters of the state.
Both leaders have been actively visiting Bihar, engaging with local leaders and strategizing on the ground.
Congress’ strategy for 2025:
The grand old party has been aiming to make stronger media outreach to counter political narratives, focused outreach on women voters with Alka Lamba leading the charge and reinforcing ground presence through leadership visits and coordinators efforts. This move signals Congress’ serious attempt to revive its political standing in Bihar.
The party’s next move will be crucial as it looks to regain lost ground in the state.
