BJP announces new Bihar state team ahead of the Lok Sabha election 2029.

Patna, May 29, 2026: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a new roster of state office-bearers for its Bihar unit as part of an organizational expansion exercise ahead of the Lok Sabha election 2029 and the Bihar Assembly election 2030.

The newly constituted team includes several senior leaders, former legislators, and women representatives, reflecting the party’s emphasis on social and regional balance within the organization.

The list was released under the directive of BJP National President Nitin Nabin.

Haribhushan Thakur Bachol and 13 others are appointed as BJP state vice presidents:

According to the announcement, former MLA Haribhushan Thakur Bachol, Rakesh Kumar, Santosh Pathak, Manoj Kumar Singh, Anamika Paswan, Rama Singh, Pawan Jaiswal, Pranav Kumar Yadav, Santosh Ranjan Rai, Nand Prasad Chouhan, Anil Thakur, Mukesh Sharma, Sheela Kushwaha, and Balram Mandal have been appointed as State Vice Presidents.

The party has appointed Saroj Ranjan Patel, Dhanraj Sharma, Preeti Shekher, Nitin Abhishek, and Rajor Jha alias Raju Jha as State General Secretaries.

Similarly, Sushma Sahu, Janmejau Kumar Singh, Ragini Rani, Kumar Raghvendra, Prabhakar Mishra, Anjini Nishad, Manoj Choudhary, Mukesh Singh Kushwaha, Seema Jha, Sarla Rajak, Sunil Ram, Sanjay Kumar Munna, Mukesh Sharma of Muzaffarpur, and Diwakar Singh have been assigned responsibilities as State Secretaries.

The BJP has also announced key financial and administrative appointments within the organization.

MLA Vikram Narayan Singh has been appointed as the State Treasurer, while Rajesh Sinha and Ankur Gupta have been named Co-treasurers.

Akshay Kumar has been designated as the state Headquarters in-charge, and Vinay Kesari has been appointed as Office Secretary.

BJP wants to strengthen the organizational structure of Bihar:

According to party sources, the formation of the new organizational team is aimed at further strengthening the BJP’s grassroots structure and sharpening its election strategy in preparation for the forthcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.

Party leaders stated that the new team has been carefully structured to ensure representation from different social groups and regions across Bihar, with the objective of enhancing organizational coordination and outreach.

Following the announcement, enthusiasm has reportedly spread among BJP workers and supporters across the state.

Senior leaders expressed confidence that the newly appointed office-bearers would play a crucial role in strengthening the organization down to the booth level and energizing the party ahead of the elections.
