HTET 2026 exam preparation is completed in Gurugram; over 15,000 candidates will appear.

Gurugram, July 3, 2026: The Gurugram district administration has completed all necessary arrangements for the smooth, fair, and peaceful conduct of the HTET-2026, scheduled to be held on July 4 and 5, 2026.

The examination is being conducted by the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH), Bhiwani.

Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh said all concerned departments have been directed to ensure adequate facilities for candidates, facilitate their timely arrival at examination centres, and maintain law and order throughout the examination.

According to the Deputy Commissioner, the HTET examinations will be conducted for Level-3 (PGT) from 3:00 PM to 5;30 PM on July 4 (Saturday), Level-2 (TGT) from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM on July 5 (Sunday), and Level-1 (PRT) from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM on July 5 (Sunday).

A total of 22 examination centres have been established across Gurugram for the examination.

More than 15,000 candidates are expected to participate in the HTET:

The district is expected to witness participation from 15,367 candidates, including 4,674 candidates for the PGT (Level-3) examination, 6,984 candidates for the TGT (Level-2) examination, and 3,709 candidates for the PRT (Level-1) examination.

The administration has made special transport arrangements to ensure candidates can reach their examination centres safely and on time.

Candidates have been advised to report well before the scheduled time and strictly follow all examination guidelines.

To ensure a secure and malpractice-free examination, the administration has strengthened security arrangements around all examination centres.

Under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, the assembly of four or more persons within a 200-metre radius of examination centres has been prohibited during the examination period.

In addition, photocopy shops and coaching institutes located near the examination centres have been directed to remain closed from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on July 4 and 5.

Candidates will not be allowed to carry mobile phones, pagers, smart devices, electronic gadgets, or any communication devices inside the examination centres.

Appeal for public cooperation:

Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh said the district administration is committed to providing a fair, transparent, and secure environment for all candidates appearing in the HTET-2026 examination.

He added that all departments are working in close coordination to ensure the HTET examinations are conducted peacefully and efficiently, and appealed to the public to cooperate with the administration in maintaining order during the examination days.
