Gurugram, May 19, 2026: Gurugram Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh has directed all officials to ensure that no complaint registered on the CM Window portal remains pending for more than one month, stressing strict adherence to timelines and accountability in grievance redressal.
The directive was issued following a review meeting held via video conferencing on Tuesday, chaired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.
The meeting was attended by senior officials as well as ‘Eminent Persons’ associated with the CM window system.
During the review, Uttam Singh assessed department-wise pendency of complaints and emphasized that all grievances must be resolved within the stipulated timeframe.
He also instructed officials to upload Action Taken Reports (ATRs) promptly on the portal.
Uttam Singh emphasize on quality:
Highlighting that timely disposal alone is not sufficient, Uttam Singh stressed the importance of quality in complaint resolution.
He directed officials to allow adequate time for ‘Eminent Persons’ to evaluate cases before ATRs are uploaded, ensuring transparency and fairness in the process.

The DC stated that the administration should aim for zero pendency of CM Window complaints so that citizens receive prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
He urged all departments to handle grievances with seriousness and responsibility.
He also invited suggestions from the Eminent Persons present in the meeting and discussed ways to further improve the efficiency and transparency of the grievance redressal mechanism.
Gurugram’s outstanding performance:
In a significant achievement, Gurugram ranked second in the state in CM Window complaint redressal.
As per the composite score calculated up to May 18, 2026, the district secured 81 points.

Commanding officials for this performance, Uttam Singh, encouraged departments to maintain the same level of dedication to ensure both speed and quality in resolving public grievances.
The meeting was attended by ADC Sonu Bhatt, CTM Jyoti Nagpal, and other departmental officials.
