Tejashwi Yadav termed the disappointing union budget.
Patna July 23: Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly said that the union budget on Tuesday has again disappointed the people of Bihar.
Tejashwi Yadav showed disappointment: While uploading a post on the social networking platform X, Tejashwi Yadav said,
“A revival plan was needed to take Bihar on the path of progress and for which a special package along with the status of a special state is urgently needed.”
“Those who call routine allocations and previously approved, scheduled and allocated schemes as new gifts should not insult Bihar. To stop migration, remove backwardness of the state and for a better future of the youth along with industries, we will not step back even an inch from our demand for the status of a special state,” Yadav said.
“By repackaging the old projects approved, proposed, allotted, scheduled and operational during our tenure and the schemes related to road and bridge construction, tourism, industry and airport operation, and naming them as special packages and special gifts in the budget today, Biharis are being fooled,” he said.
Tejashwi Yadav claimed centre repackaged old projects: In 2017, Prime Minister Modi had announced a special package of 10 lakh 10 thousand crores for Bihar, but even after 2 years, Bihar has not received anything. Not only me, but Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also accepted this many times.

“This is the same as that announced earlier. The Jumla Party is again misleading the public by demonstrating its special expertise in calling old schemes new. In 2017, Prime Minister Modi had promised to give special state status to Bihar, what happened to that promise?” Tejashwi Yadav asked.
Tejashwi Yadav also uploaded some news articles related to it on his official X handle.
