Patna July 24: The third day of the monsoon session of the Bihar assembly is expected to be stormy as the opposition leaders will target the ruling NDA government on issues like Special category status, bridge collapses and the poor law and order situation of Bihar.

The third day of proceedings begin with question hour: The proceedings of the Bihar assembly will begin at 11 am with the question hour, during which the members of the house will bring questions related to Rural Works Department, Rural Development Department, Panchayati Raj Department, Water Resources Department, Minor Water Resources Department, Road Construction Department, Building Construction Department and Labor Resources Department in the House house will be addressed.

The Minister or Minister-in-charge of the respective departments will provide answers.

After the question hour, members will also raise immediate issues during the Zero Hour, and the government will provide detailed answers during the attention-seeking segment.

Three bills will be introduced on the day third: Three bills will be introduced by the government in the second half of the third day of the assembly. The most discussed is the bill aims to prevent question paper leaks, proposing penalties of up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to Rs one crore.

Additionally, The Bihar Lift and Escalator Bill and Bihar Mall and Service Tax Amendment Bill 2024 will be also brought on the third day of the proceedings.
