CM Nitish hails PM Modi’s vision and lauds Rs. 5,736 crore projects at Siwan rally.

Patna, June 20, 2025: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while addressing a grand public rally in Siwan during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit, praised the Cente’s efforts in accelerating Bihar’s development.
The event marked the inauguration and foundation stone lying of 22 major projects worth Rs. 5,736 crores, as well as the launch of two new trains.
Nitish Kumar praises PM Modi:
Speaking on the occasion, CM Nitish Kumar said: “Today, Bihar is getting the benefit of 32 development schemes. For this, I heartily congratulate Prime Minister Modi. The central government has done a lot of work for Bihar.” He contrasted the present governance with past regimes.
“During the previous rule, did anyone dare to step out in the evening? Today those very people are spreading propaganda. We have given reservations to women and continuously worked to take Bihar forward,” Kumar said.

The CM further said that after 2024, the Modi government made big announcements for Bihar and that work on those promises has already begun.
“They decided to conduct a caste-based census—what a great initiative. Bihar is marching ahead, and no one will be left behind,” he added.
Modi’s roadshow and grand reception:
PM Modi reached Jasoli in Siwan via Kushinagar (UP) and was greeted with a colorful roadshow in an open jeep.
Enthusiastic crowds lined the roads, waving and chanting “ PM Modi zindabad”, as people recorded videos and showered flowers.

On the stage, BJP Bihar President Dilip Jaiswal led the welcome with traditional torches, music, and a shawl ceremony.
Jaiswal sang a welcome song, saying, “The moment I was waiting for has arrived.” PM Modi inauguration and led the foundation of 22 projects worth Rs.5, 736 crore, launched of 2 new trains and a total of 32 development schemes benefitting Bihar.
During the occasion, CM Nitish Kumar and several senior NDA leaders in attendance.
This visit marks PM Modi’s fifth trip to Bihar in 2025 underscoring the regions significant ahead of the state elections.
