Jan Suraj chief said honesty and integrity are his party’s assets:
Before the nomination, Kishor addressed a public meeting, emphasizing the value of honesty and integrity that drive the Jan Suraj campaign.
He highlighted that the strength of their movement does not depend on the size of rallies or the number of vehicles but rather on the commitment and sincerity of their efforts.
“For the past two years, the party has been conducting village-to-village foot campaign, and even on nomination day, they chose to walk to the nomination b\venue rather than arriving in vehicles,” Kishor said.
Nomination is the first milestone of the Jan Suraj Party:
Kishor expressed excitement about the party’s journey since its formation on October 2, 2024, and how, for the first time, the Jan Suraj candidates have filed their nominations.
“The enthusiasm shown by workers, supporters and those who view Jan Suraj as the future of Bihar, underscoring the party’s growing momentum,” he said.
Prashant Kishor emphasized the growing discontent among the people of Bihar with both Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD and Nitish Kumar’s administration which he referred to respectively as “Jungle Raj and Jungle Raj of Officers”.
One of the key candidates, Mohammad Amjad, contesting from Belaganj, has previous electoral experience. In the 2010 election, he ran on a JD(U) ticket and received 48,441 votes. He also contested in 2005 under the LJP banner. Known for social contributions as the former head of Bhaluwa 1 panchayat, Amjad has a strong reputation in the area.
From Imamganj, Dr. Jitendra Paswan is a well-regarded medical professional, recognized for offering affordable healthcare.
