Patna, June 8, 2024: Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, the newly elected MP from Purnea, has blamed the INDI alliance’s poor performance in Bihar on what he described as the “arrogance” of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav.

Speaking to reporters in Muzaffarpur, Pappu Yadav said, “The INDI alliance suffered in Bihar due to the arrogance of Tejashwi Yadav. As a result, Rahul Gandhi did not become the Prime Minister of the country.”

Pappu Yadav said the INDI Alliance miscalculated the poll prospect:

He reiterated that the alliance had miscalculated its electoral prospects from the beginning.

“We had already said we would not get more than 230 seats. If Tejashwi Yadav had not behaved arrogantly during the election, the INDIA alliance would have secured more than 25 seats in Bihar. The state has suffered this fate due to Tejashwi’s arrogance. If you dream of becoming Chief Minister, you must have a big heart, “he said.

According to him, several seats slipped away from the alliance because of one person’s approach.

Pappu Yadav put question marks on the INDI alliance’s ticket distribution:

“We even lost seats where our candidates were actually in a winning position. Because of him, the INDIA alliance lost the Siwan seat. Had Kanhaiya Kumar been given a ticket in Begusarai, he might have won. Where NDA candidates have won, their margins were very small,” he added.

Pappu Yadav further said that the INDIA bloc’s losses in Bihar and Delhi cost Rahul Gandhi the chance to become Prime Minister.

“If the leaders of the INDIA alliance had not shown arrogance, Rahul Gandhi would have been the Prime Minister today,” he said.
