He also confirmed that he would file his nomination papers for the Legislative Council election on June 8.
Expressing gratitude to the Bharatiya Janata Party leadership for reposing faith in him, Pawan Singh stated that he would work with sincerity and dedication to justify the party’s confidence.
He added that his entry into politics is driven by a desire to serve the people and contribute to public welfare.

For the upcoming Bihar Legislative Council elections, the BJP has nominated four candidates: Pawan Singh, Sanjay Mayukh, Anil Kumar Thakur, and Sheila Pandit.
NDA has announced 9 candidates:
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has finalized its full slate of candidates, with the Janata Dal (United) fielding Nishant Kumar, Bharti Mehta, and Shivrani Devi Prajapati for the biennial elections, while Lalan Prasad has been nominated for the by-election.
The Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has announced Ashraf Ansari as its candidate.
Political observers believe that the NDA enters the Legislative Council contest with a strong numerical advantage in the Bihar Assembly, making the victory prospects of its officially backed candidates highly favorable.
Pawan Singh’s nomination, in particular, is being viewed as a strategic move by the BJP to strengthen its appeal among the Bhojpuri-speaking electorate while bringing a popular cultural figure into active politics.
