Gurugram, May 29, 2026: Vinod Bapna, Chairman of the Federation of Indian Industries (FII), Haryana, and CEO of Caparo Maruti, has welcomed the Bharat Industrial Development Scheme (BHAVYA) approved by the Central Government, describing it as a historic and visionary initiative for accelerating India’s industrial growth, strengthening the manufacturing sector, and generating large-scale employment opportunities.
Vinod Bapna, on Friday, stated that the Central Government’s decision to establish 100 plug-and-play industrial clusters and parks across the country, with an estimated investment of nearly Rs 33,660 crore, represents a major step toward transforming India into a global manufacturing hub.
According to him, the scheme will provide industries with pre-developed infrastructure, thereby significantly reducing the time and costs associated with setting up new industrial units.
Vinod Bapna highlighted the Narendra Modi Government’s initiative:
He noted that the industrial parks developed under the BHAVYA Scheme will be equipped with modern facilities such as roads, electricity, water supply, drainage systems, warehousing, Information and Communication technology (ICT) networks, testing laboratories, storage infrastructure, and residential facilities for workers.
These integrated amenities, Vinod Bapna said, will create a world-class industrial ecosystem for investors and help accelerate industrial production activities across the country.

The FII Haryana Chairman emphasized that the scheme would prove especially beneficial for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), startups, and industries associated with the automobile, engineering, logistics, and supply chain sectors.
He observed that the availability of pre-approved land and ready-to-use infrastructure would substantially reduce the administrative and technical hurdles generally faced by industries during the initial stages of operations:
BHAVYA scheme will promote the Centre’s flagship industrial programs:
Vinod Bapna further remarked that the BHAVYA scheme would provide fresh momentum to flagship national initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti, Make in India, and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
He stated that cluster-based industrial development would enhance coordination among industries, suppliers, and service providers, thereby strengthening the domestic supply chain and improving manufacturing efficiency/
Expressing optimism about the long-term impact of the scheme, he said that BHAVYA is expected to attract substantial investment into the country and generate nearly 1.5 million direct employment opportunities.
According to him, the initiative will open new avenues of employment for the youth while also promoting balanced industrial development across various states of India.
Viond Bapna described the BHAVYA scheme as a transformative policy initiative that has the potential to reshape India’s industrial landscape and reinforce the country’s position as a major global manufacturing destination.
