NEET-UG 2026: Gurugram administration tightens arrangements ahead of May 3 exam.

Gurugram, April 29, 2026: With the NEET-UG 2026 scheduled for May 3, the district administration in Gurugram has stepped up preparations to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examination.

A total of 18 NEET-UG 2026 examination centres have been set up across the district, where 6,875 candidates will appear.

To review arrangements, a high-level meeting was held at the Mini Secretariat under the chairmanship of ADC Sonu Bhatt.

Strict instructions for smooth conduct of NEET-UG 2026 examination:

ADC Sonu Bhatt directed officials to ensure that candidates face no inconvenience on exam day, warning that negligence at any level would not be tolerated.

He emphasized the need for adequate drinking water and sanitation facilities, proper electricity supply, and clean and organized examination environments.

Officials were instructed to complete all arrangements well in advance.

Special emphasis was placed on traffic control and parking arrangements outside examination centres.

The ADC directed concerned departments to ensure smooth traffic flow, prevent congestion near centres, and provide sufficient parking space.

The aim is to ensure that candidates reach their centres on time without stress or delay.

Coordination among departments:

The administration stressed inter-departmental coordination to guarantee a transparent, peaceful, and organized examination process.

Officials assured that a safe and conducive environment would be maintained at all centres to help students perform at their best.

Exam details and participation:

The NEET-UG 2026 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency, will be held in a single shift from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM across the country.

Over 22 lakh candidates are expected to participate in this examination, including 65,300 candidates from Haryana. 6975 candidates will give the examinations in Gurugram.

In Gurugram, 720 candidates have a centre at PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School, Sector 4/7, which is the highest number at one centre in Gurugram and the lowest of 227 candidates at Government Senior Secondary School, Bhondsi.

During the meeting, key officials, including Deputy DEO Geeta Arya, Principal Vinod, and multiple centre superintendents such as Pradeep Kumar, Geeta Yadav, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Satish Yadav, Sushil Kumar, Kavita, Rachna, Shashi Rana, Shivdutt, and Pawan Kumar, were present.

The administration reiterated that providing a comfortable and stress-free environment is crucial, as it directly impacts student performance.

With preparations in full swing, authorities aim to ensure that NEET-UG 2026 is conducted in Gurugram with complete transparency, efficiency, and discipline.
