New Delhi, February 17, 2026: The Ministry of Steel, along with its Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), is participating in the India AI Impact Summit 2026, being held from February 16 to 20, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
As part of the summit, the Ministry has set up a dedicated exhibition stall to highlight key challenges faced by the mining and steel sectors.
The initiative aims to invite AI startups, innovators, and technology providers to develop practical, scalable, and effective artificial intelligence—based solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, sustainability, and safety across the steel value chain.
This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of leveraging artificial intelligence to accelerate India’s industrial transformation, strengthen technological leadership, and promote innovation-driven growth.
Through its participation at the summit, the Ministry of Steel seeks to foster collaborative partnerships between industry stakeholders and emerging technology enterprises, enabling AI-driven solutions to address real-world challenges in the steel and mining sectors.
Ministry of Steel has invited innovators for dialogue:
The Ministry of Steel has invited AI startups and innovators to actively engage in this dialogue and collaborate in developing sector-specific solutions.
Such partnerships are expected to contribute significantly to the broader vision of a technologically advanced, innovation-led, and self-reliant India.
As part of the summit, the Steel Secretary will hold a special interactive session with AI startups, along with Chairman and Managing Directors (CMDs) of major CPSEs, including Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and NMDC Limited.
India AI Impact Summit 2026 will be held on 18th February:
The event will be held tomorrow in New Delhi. The objective of the session is to promote AI-based solutions tailored to the specific needs of the steel and mining sectors and to encourage broader participation from the startup ecosystem.
The Ministry of Steel has reiterated its call to innovators to bring forward cutting-edge AI solutions and become strategic partners in India’s journey towards an AI-enabled steel sector transformation.
