Patna, January 8, 2026: In a major initiative aimed at encouraging young entrepreneurs and innovators in Bihar, the ‘Bihar Startup Yatra’ is set to be launched soon in Patna.
Following the nationwide success of its acclaimed documentary ‘This Yatra,’ October Sky is now turning its focus towards strengthening the startup ecosystem in Bihar.
The objective of the initiative is to inspire the youth of the state to take up entrepreneurship, recognize their efforts, and provide them with platforms to convert innovative ideas into successful business ventures.
Industrialists will participate in the Startup Yatra:
Officially announced by October Sky, the event will feature representatives from leading companies across the country, along with seasoned industry leaders, investors, and mentors.
Several Bihar ministers, including cabinet ministers and other elected representatives, are also expected to attend.
The program is being designed as a large-scale entrepreneurship summit, offering startups and young innovators from Bihar direct access to mentorship, guidance, and networking opportunities.
According to the organizers, while the ‘This Yatra’ documentary highlighted inspiring entrepreneurial journeys from across India, the ‘Bihar Startup Yatra’ will function as a hands-on platform.
It will bring together aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage startup founders, investors, mentors, and policymakers from Bihar under one roof.
The primary aim is to encourage Bihar’s youth to view entrepreneurship as a viable career option, moving beyond a sole dependence on traditional job opportunities.
Official remarks:
Nalini Sinha, Director of October Sky, said that the documentary had clearly shown that talent is not limited to metropolitan cities. She added that Bihar’s youth possess immense potential for innovation and growth.
The ‘Bihar Startup Yatra,’ she said, would play a crucial role in positioning Patna as an emerging hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.
She further noted that the initiative would provide a fresh direction to Bihar’s startup ecosystem while motivating young people in the state to become self-reliant and pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.
