Nitish Kumar reached Samastipur as part of his Pragati Yatra to boost infrastructure.

Patna January 13, 2025: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the District Emergency Response Facility in Ujiyarpur block of Samastipur district on Monday.
This marks a key milestone in his ongoing Pragati Yatra, now in its second phase. During his visit, he is scheduled to inspect multiple ongoing projects and inaugurate several infrastructure initiatives aimed at boosting development in the region.
Additionally, the Chief Minister will hold a review meeting with district officials to assess the progress and current status of various ongoing projects.
Nitish Kumar earlier visited Madhubani:
On Sunday, during his visit to Madhubani district, Nitish Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects totalling Rs.1,107 crore.
The second phase of the Pragati Yatra underlines Nitish Kumar’s focus on development and governance, engaging directly with district administrations and ensuring that projects are progressing as planned.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, widely regarded for his strategic political manoeuvring, has introduced noticeable changes to his outreach approach ahead of the assembly elections scheduled for October-November.
