New Delhi, July 20, 2026: In a major initiative aimed at promoting world-class sporting infrastructure and encouraging long-term community engagement, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), on the directions of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu, has announced the launch of Lifetime Membership for its 18-hole championship golf course at Dwarka Sector-24.
The online registration process will commence on July 21, 2026, and remain open for two months.
Until now, the Dwarka Golf Course had offered only fixed-term memberships.
The decision to introduce lifetime memberships has been taken with the objective of fostering a greater sense of ownership and belonging among golf enthusiasts and regular users of the facility.
The DDA will offer a total of 850 Lifetime Memberships, divided into two categories, including 250 memberships under the Government Category and 600 memberships under the Non-Government Category.
In addition to lifetime memberships, applicants may also choose the existing 3-year and 5-year tenure membership options.
The Dwarka Golf Course was inaugurated in 2024 and has since emerged as one of India’s premier golfing destinations.
DDA offers membership charges:
In addition, golfers can also opt for 3-Year and 5- Year tenure membership, which is available at present.

The Lifetime Membership fee is Rs 3.50 lakh for the Government Category and Rs 7.50 lakh for the Non-Government Category.
Besides, tenure membership of 3 years is available at Rs 1.20 lakh in the Government Category and Rs 2.50 lakh for the Non-Government Category.
The charges for 5-Year Membership are Rs 1.80 lakh and Rs 4.50 lakh, respectively, for Government and Non-Government categories.
Interested applicants must submit their applications online by paying a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 2,500.
Following verification of applications, successful candidates will be required to deposit the applicable membership fee within 30 days of receiving the offer of membership.
If the number of eligible applicants exceeds the available memberships in any category, allotment will be carried out through a computerized draw of lots, ensuring a transparent and fair selection process.
DDA has advised applicants to submit only one application, warning that multiple applications from the same individual may lead to rejection.
India’s longest golf course under DDA:
Spread across 158 acres, the Dwarka Golf Course, run by DDA, is an 18-hole championship course extending over 7,377 yards, making it the longest golf course in India.
Among its key features, a 375-yard driving range with 52 practice bays, the longest in the country.
The North Shore SLT grass fairways, introduced for the first time in India, and large championship-standard greens designed for professional and recreational golfers alike.
The golf complex offers an extensive range of modern amenities, including a restaurant and cafeteria, snack kiosks, a conference hall, a multi-purpose hall, a lecture hall, a technology studio, pro shops, an equipment fitting studio, a swimming pool, and sauna and steam rooms.
The DDA is also establishing a Golf Academy at the complex, envisioned as a centre of excellence for training and nurturing future golfing talent.
The facility incorporates several environmentally sustainable features, including a fully computerized automatic irrigation system for efficient water management, underground drainage infrastructure, and stormwater recharge wells to support groundwater conservation. These measures have been designed to ensure intelligent use of water resources while maintaining the championship-standard playing surface.
DDA’s commitment to sports development:
The DDA has played a significant role in developing sports infrastructure across the national capital.
At present, the DDA manages 18 sports complexes, 4 mini sports complexes, and 3 public golf courses.
The introduction of lifetime membership at the Dwarka Golf Course is expected to further strengthen Delhi’s sporting ecosystem while providing golfers with long-term access to one of the country’s most advanced golf facilities.
