NDA will make a short film named “Nitish Kumar ka Bihar” to lure voters in 2025.

Patna November 25, 2024: Following the victory in the Bihar by-poll, the NDA announced plans to produce a short film titled “Nitish Kumar Ka Bihar” highlighting the transformation of Bihar under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
The short film will showcase a comparative narrative of the state’s condition before and after 2005 when Kumar first came to power. It aims to underline the development initiatives and governance improvements during his tenure.
A short film announced during the joint press meet of NDA:
The announcement was made during a joint NDA press conference at the JD(U) office, with BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal providing details.
‘The short film would serve as a response to opposition criticisms, portraying Bihar’s progress and the challenges it faced prior to Nitish Kumar’s government. The depiction of pre-2005 Bihar would evoke strong emotions among viewers. The film would highlight the significant strides made in law and order, infrastructure, and governance,” Jaiswal said.
This initiative appears to be a strategic move by the NDA to bolster Nitish Kumar’s image and counter opposition narratives ahead of future elections.
Dilip Jaiswal claimed the short film would be a revolution:
Jaiswal described the initiative as a “revolutionary campaign” that will resonate deeply with the people, especially at the grassroots level.
“The film would evoke strong emotions, asserting that it would boil people by exposing the situation of Bihar before 2005 while fostering greater respect for Nitish Kumar’s leadership,” Jaiswal said.
The short film will be distributed and screened as part of a campaign extending from villages to blocks, ensuring widespread reach.
The announcement came during a joint press conference at the JD(U) office, which saw participation from key NDA leaders, including BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, JD(U) state president Umesh Kushwaha, and LJP (Ram Vilas) state president Raju Singh.
This initiative aligns with the NDA’s preparations for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, leveraging the recent victory in the by-election for four assembly seats to consolidate their position.
The film serves as a counter to opposition criticism, emphasizing Nitish Kumar’s contributions to Bihar’s development and aiming to galvanize public support for the NDA coalition.
Dilip Jaiswal also targeted the opposition leaders of Bihar:
Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal continued his criticism of the opposition.
Without mentioning names, Jaiswal accused certain leader of being absent during times of need, referencing their alleged disappearance during the floods in Bihar. He sarcastically remarked that when efforts were made to bring them back from abroad, they resisted, saying, ‘Papa, we will not go,’ but were still brought back to Bihar.
Jaiswal’s comments also extended to the Lalu Prasad Yadav family, accusing them of being entrenched in nepotism.
“This was the reason for the decline of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). The party is losing relevance in Bihar. The recent by-election results as evidence that the people of Bihar are rejecting the RJD and favouring the NDA coalition,” Jaiswal said.
These remarks reflect the BJP’s strategy of targeting the opposition, particularly the RJD and its leadership, as it consolidates its position after the by-election victories and begins preparations for the 2025 assembly elections.
