Patna June 5: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav went to Delhi on the same flight to respectively attend the meetings of the NDA and INDIA on Wednesday.
Both the leaders were seen on one flight of Vistara Airlines. Tejashwi Yadav was sitting just behind CM Nitish Kumar on the flight. The flight took off from Patna at 10.45 am.
After the result of the Lok Sabha elections was declared on Tuesday, a series of meetings started in New Delhi. NDA can stake claim to form the government very soon.
A meeting is being organized in New Delhi on Wednesday regarding this. CM Nitish Kumar will attend the meeting of the NDA.
On the other hand, a meeting of the INDIA will also be held in Delhi. Tejashwi Yadav will join this meeting.
On Tuesday, the result for 543 Lok Sabha seats was declared. This time NDA has won 291 seats while INDIA bloc obtained 234 seats BJP emerged as the single largest party in this Lok Sabha with 240 seats. Its other alliance partners have obtained 51 seats.
While interacting with the media persons in Patna, Tejashwi Yadav said an encouraging result has come for the RJD.
“Our polling percentage as well as seats have increased in the Lok Sabha election 2024. RJD obtained more than one crore votes in Bihar. We contested on the line of real issues like jobs, saving the constitution and reservation of the country and we have succeeded in it. BJP failed to achieve a majority figure on its own and it has to take the support of other parties. So, BJP is now dependent on them,” Yadav said.
When asked if he is traveling with Nitish Kumar on the same flight, he said: “I don’t know about it.”
