21.68% polling registered in Bihar till 11 am.

Patna April 26: With the day progressing, the voting is picking up in Bihar’s 5 Lok Sabha constituencies. The voting for the second phase is currently underway in Purnea, Katihar, Kishanganj, Bhagalpur and Banka and the election commission has registered 21.68% polling till 11 am on Friday.

The voters are showing enthusiasm and it is visible at the polling centers.

A maximum of 25.90% polling registered in Purnea till 11 am. The contest of Purnea has panned out triangular between Santosh Kushwaha of JD-U, Bima Bharti of RJD and Pappu Yadav independent.

22.65% voting was registered in Katihar till 11 am on Friday. The contest of Katihar is taking place between Dulal Chandra Goswami of JD-U and Tariq Anwar of Congress.

A total of 21.94 % polling registered in Kishanganj Lok Sabha constituency. The contest of Kishanganj is also triangular between Mohammad Jawed of Congress, Mozahid Alam of JD-U and Akhtarul Iman of AIMIM.

The election commission has registered 19.27% polling in Bhagalpur. The main contest is taking place between Ajeet Sharma of Congress and Ajay Kumar Mandal of JD-U.

Banka has also registered 18.75% polling till 9 am and the main contest is taking place between Giridhari Yadav of JD-U and Jay Prakash Narayan Yadav of RJD.
