Tejashwi Yadav announced to holding a conferences in all 243 assembly seats in Bihar to woo the voters ahead of polls.

Patna April 26, 2025: With political activities intensifying ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, a high-level meeting of RJD led by Tejashwi Yadav was held at the party’s state office in Patna on Saturday.

The session involved intense brainstorming regarding election preparations and strategies.

Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, speaking to the media after the meeting, emphasized that this was not just an election strategy meeting, but also a broader initiative to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Tejashwi Yadav directed the party’s workers to direct engagement with common people:

He announced that the RJD would organize conferences in all assembly constituencies. Through these conferences, party cadres will visit villages, interact directly with people, and communicate the ideology of special justice that the RJD stands for.

“The objective is direct public engagement. We want to convey the policies of RJD to every household and strengthen the party’s position in the election environment,” Yadav said.

The meeting also made it clear that this initiative is not limited to RJD alone but forms part of a common strategy of the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), which includes six parties: RJD, Congress, CPI (M), CPI, CPI (ML) and Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP).

During the meeting on April 25, a 21-member Coordination Committee has been formed. Tejashwi Yadav has been appointed as the Chairman of this committee.

As per the representation in the committee, 5 members from RJD, 4 members from Congress and 3 members each from CPI (M), CPI, CPI (ML), and VIP.

RJD leaders in the coordination committee include Tejashwi Yadav, National General Secretary Abdulbari Siddiqui, MP Sanjay Yadav, Former Minister Alok Mehta and State General Secretary Ranvijay Sahu.

Manoj Jha pointed out the party’s goal of social justice and equality:

RJD MP Manoj Jha also addressed the media after the meeting, saying that while elections were discussed the priorities of the party were a major focus.

“We aim to practice the politics of employment, Justice, and brotherhood, not just chase power. We are committed to social inclusion, justice for deprived sections, and sustainable development. We must steer clear of the politics of false promises,” Jha stated.

He stressed that RJD’s efforts are geared towards not just electoral victory but also building a new social structure based on equity and Justice.

With the Mahagathbandhan showing a strong, united front, the preparations indicate an energetic campaign ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
