Ashok Choudhary will file a defamation case against Prashant Kishor over the “Ticket Purchase” remark.

Patna April 26, 2025: Bihar Rural Work Minister Ashok Choudhary has announced that he will file a defamation case against Jan Suraj Chief Prashant Kishor for his controversial remarks regarding the political rise of Choudhary’s daughter.
Ashok Choudhary will file a demotion suit:
Choudhary said preparations for legal action are underway after Kishor, while addressing a gathering in Jamui during his Jansuraj Udghosh Yatra on Friday, alleged.
“Everyone knows what his political character is. He bought a ticket for his daughter and made her an MP. No leader or party in Bihar has the guts to accuse us of taking even a single rupee,” Kishor said on Friday.

Responding strongly, Choudhary stated: “We come from a Dalit family; we cannot fight with a sword. Whatever resources we have as ordinary citizens, we will use them, and we believe we will get justice.”
He emphasized that he would file and fight the defamation case to protect his family’s honor.
Ashok Choudhary questions the Jan Suraj funding:
Earlier, Ashok Choudhary had questioned the funding sources behind Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj campaign, prompting a sharp reaction from Kishor,
Prashant Kishor defended himself by saying: “We are neither MLAs, nor MPs, nor do we work for sand mafia or liquor mafia. Whatever money w have earned, we have earned with our intelligence and hard work. We are spending it to empower the poor people of Bihar, so they don’t have to stay away from politics due to lack of money.”

Ashok Choudhary’s daughter, Shambhavi Choudhary, contested and won the Samastipur (reserved) seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as a candidate of LJP (Ram Vilas).
The political rivalry between Prashant Kishor and the ruling coalition leaders continues to intensify as Bihar’s political landscape heats up ahead of future electoral battles.
