Samrat Choudhary reached Patna after removing his turban.

Patna July 4: A day after removing the turban in Ayodhya, BJP Bihar president Samrat Chaudhary arrived in Patna on Thursday.

He was given a grand welcome by numerous BJP workers at the party’s office.

On Wednesday, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary visited Ayodhya, where he took a dip in the Saryu River and removed his turban, placing it at the feet of Lord Ram. This act was in fulfillment of a resolution he had made.

“I fulfilled my pledge of removing the turban by visiting Ayodhya and dedicated it at the feet of Lord Ram. I want to say that the NDA government, led by Nitish Kumar is strong and, is committed to developing Bihar,” Choudhary said.

After Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with NDA in 2022, Samrat Choudhary vowed to keep the turban tied until Nitish Kumar was removed from power. As a result, his turban has been a topic of political discussion in Bihar.

However, Nitish Kumar is running the government as the chief minister of Bihar and BJP is supporting him.

Nitish Kumar broke the alliance with RJD in February this year and formed the government with the help of BJP and Samrat Chaudhary took the oath as Deputy Chief Minister. At that time, his turban gained significant attention in Bihar.

Regarding the recent bridge collapses in Bihar, Chaudhary stated that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is closely monitoring the situation and that there are ongoing discussions about bridge maintenance. He assured that action would be taken against those responsible.
