Prashant Kishor said Congress merely carrying a bag of Lalu Prasad in Bihar.

Patna, May 1, 2025: On a one-day visit to Munger, Jan Suraj leader Prashant Kishor or launched a sharp political offensive against both Congress and RJD, questioning their political credibility and sincerity toward marginalized communities.

Speaking to the media persons, Kishor said “Congress has no independent existence Bihar. It merely carries the bag of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s RJD. For a handful of MPs Delhi, Congress has surrendered Bihar to Lalu Prasad Yadav.”

Prashant Kishor criticized Tejashwi Yadav:

Kishor also addressed the recent statement by Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, who proposed excluding toddy from the liquor ban in Bihar.

Kishor questioned RJD’s sincerity toward the Pasi community, traditionally associated with toddy tapping.

“When the liquor ban was implemented, RJD was part of the government. Why didn’t they raise the issue then? Even later when RJD returned to power, why didn’t they act to exclude Toddy? “ Kishor asked.

Prashant Kishor further alleged that RJD’s newfound concern is politically motivated:

“Now that elections are near, their leader are suddenly remembering Toddy and the Pasi community. They are roaming around with Labni [toddy collection vessel] only for votes.”

Kishor’s remarks reflect his ongoing campaign to position Jan Suraj as a credit alternative in Bihar’s fractured political landscape, challenging both traditional parties and their shifting narratives ahead of the 2025 Assembly elections.
