Lalu Yadav targets Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi with satirical meme ahead of Bihar polls 2025:

Patna, July 2, 2025: RJD National President Lalu Yadav has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a sarcastic post on social media, intensifying the political heat ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections.
On his official x handle, Lalu Yadav shared a meme-style picture featuring PM Modi and CM Nitish Kumar dressed as delivery boys.
The photo shows a bag labeled “Achche Din” and a box marked “Special State Status,” with a caption above reading:
“Delivery boys have been seen in the streets of Bihar for free delivery of false promises. Delivery pending for 10 years, but both are saying the order is confident.”
Lalu Yadav targeted the NDA leaders for pending promises:
Through this post, Lalu Yadav has targeted the incomplete promises of both the central and state governments, which have repeatedly surfaced as election issues since 2014.
These include the “Achche Din Aayenge” slogan, the promise of special state status for Bihar, and assurances on employment, education, agricultural reforms, and industrial development, alongside Nitish Kumar’s shifting alliances within the NDA.

Calling these promises “order pending,” Lalu Yadav claimed that while slogans and propaganda have been delivered, the public is yet to receive the actual benefits.
Political parties are in election mode:
The post comes at a time when political parties are in full campaign mode for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
The RJD, Congress, and Left parties are positioned on one side, while the NDA, comprising BJP and JDU, forms the opposing camp.
The post reflects Lalu Yadav’s trademark style of humour and sharp political satire, a tactic he has often used to shape the election narrative.
Political analysts believe the post is aimed at connecting with the youth and social media-savvy voters.
