Patna June 5: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will attend the meeting of NDA in New Delhi on Wednesday.

After winning the Lok Sabha election, the central leadership of BJP called for a meeting of the NDA at 4:30 pm wherein leaders of all the alliance partners of the NDA will be present. This meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi spoke to the CM Nitish Kumar over the phone on Tuesday evening.

PM Narendra Modi also appreciated the efforts of CM Nitish Kumar.

“Under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, NDA performed well in Bihar,” PM Modi said.

Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav will go on the same flight and people are speculating about this development too. Nitish Kumar is going to attend the meeting of NDA and Tejashwi Yadav will attend the meeting of INDIA block.

Everyone’s eyes are on the exercise going on to form a new government in the centre. There will be a stir in Delhi from today as a meeting has also been called by the INDIA bloc as well. This time BJP has failed to achieve an absolute majority on its own. Therefore, it will have to take the support of allies. Out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, NDA has won 30 seats. There has been a loss of 9 seats compared to 2019.

JD(U) National President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is once again at the center of the politics in the country. His party JD(U) won 12 seats in Bihar. LJPRV national President Chirag Paswan’s got 100% success in this election. His party won 5 out of 5 seats. He has already given unconditional support to PM Modi and BJP.

On June 4, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had also talked to Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary along with party leaders.

After the result came on Tuesday, discussions started in political circles and the leaders of the INDIA bloc have contacted Nitish Kumar. According to sources, people close to Sonia Gandhi had called him. There is a buzz that India Alliance could offer Nitish Kumar the post of Deputy Prime Minister. However, this has not been confirmed.

“During the run-up of the Lok Sabha election 2024, people were claiming that the role of JD(U) will end after the poll result and the political relevance of Nitish Kumar will end. I must say that people may love him or hate him but no one can deny him. No one denies the relevance of Nitish Kumar in the national politics. He is considered a model of governance in the country. We are the alliance partner of NDA and our top leadership will decide the next course of action,” said Neeraj Kumar, MLC of JD(U).

When asked if he may change alliance, Neeraj Kumar said: They are feeling stress after the result and hence they talking like this.”
