Misa Bharti blamed the media for twisted her statement on PM Narendra Modi.

Patna: Misa Bharti, the RJD Rajya Sabha MP and Patliputra Lok Sabha candidate clarified that her statement on PM Narendra Modi was twisted by the media on Friday. She further said that the media had not published her full statement.

Misa Bharti on Thursday said that if the government of INDI Alliance comes to power in the country, PM Narendra Modi and other leaders of BJP will go to jail.

“I said that the Supreme Court had made a remark on electoral bonds and termed it unconstitutional. If our government comes to power in the centre, we will start an inquiry on it and the culprits will be punished. My statement was twisted by the media,” Misa Bharti said while interacting with the media persons in Patna on Friday.

“BJP leaders are taking action against the opposition through ED and CBI but this is not an issue. He (PM Modi) is not raising the real issues like unemployment and price rise in the country,” she said.

Misa Bharti also leveled allegations on a section of media for running agendas against the opposition leaders.

Misa Bharti, while campaigning in Maner area under Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday, said: “They were leveling allegations of corruption and dynastic politics on us but who will give the answer on electoral bonds. If the INDI alliance government comes to power in the country, PM Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders will go to jail. We are talking about doubling the income of farmers and implementation of Minimum Support Price (MSP) and he (PM Narendra Modi) is blaming us for doing appeasement.”
