Patna, October 25, 2025: Hindustani Awam Morcha HAM patron Jitan Ram Manjhi launched a sharp attack on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, dismissing his promise of providing a government job to one member of every household as unrealistic and misleading.
Jitan Ram Manjhi, who returned from Delhi on Saturday, said Tejashwi and other opposition leaders are making random promises that have no practical basis.
“These people are saying whatever comes to their minds. Such promises are impossible to fulfil. The people of Bihar understand everything,” Manjhi said.
Jitan Ram Manjhi’s reaction comes over Tejashwi’s pre-poll promise:
Before the Election campaign, Tejashwi Yadav had announced that if the RJD-led government was formed in Bihar post-election, one member of every family would get a government job, and the services of Jeevika Didis would be made permanent with higher salaries and allowances. He has also promised to make all contractual employees permanent.
Jitan Ram Manjhi questioned Tejashwi’s credibility, recalling the Lalu-Rabri era.
“Before 2005, when his parents were in power, they did nothing for Bihar’s development. There was fear and lawlessness everywhere. When the parents did nothing, what would their sons do now?” he said, adding that the people have made up their minds to bring back the NDA government.
Reacting to the RJD’s MLC Kari Sohaib’s statement that his party would tear all bills if it came to power, Manjhi quipped, “They can say anything. They can say that they would bring the moon down to earth, but is that possible? Similarly, the Grand Alliance leaders are making impossible claims.”
Jitan Ram Manjhi claimed Nitish Kumar is the most capable CM:
Responding to Tejashwi’s jibe that two Gujaratis are running Bihar, Manjhi said it was a baseless statement.
“It is his dilution. Bihar is being run by Nitish Kumar. There is no more capable Chief Minister than him. For 20 years, he has ensured good governance, improving electricity, roads, law and order,” Manjhi asserted.
