Dilip Jaiswal criticized Tejashwi Yadav over his comment about forming a government in 2025.

Patna November 24, 2024: Bihar BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal sharply criticized Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the opposition and RJD leader, over his claim that the INDIA alliance would form the government in Bihar in 2025.

Dilip Jaiswal dismissed Tejashwi’s assertion as out of touch with reality, accusing him of indulging in baseless statements to console himself after the defeat in the Bihar Assembly by-elections.

Dilip Jaiswal said Tejashwi Yadav’s claim is his baseless optimism:

“He also become “Thethar now,” said Dilip Jaiswal, musing a colloquial term derived from “ Thertharology” (a humorous term implying stubbornness or baseless optimism).

He added, “When someone is said, they console themselves by making such claims.”

This is akin to hitting an axe on one’s foot. The NDA has won convincingly in Magadh (Gaya) and Shahabad division (Bhojpur-Kaimur-Rohtas-Buxar), and the results are clear. The people of Bihar are with the NDA.”

Dilip Jaiswal further mocked Tejashwi’s comments, saying, “Some leaders have a degree in Thetharology. After a defeat, the leaders try to comfort themselves by making statements without any ground reality. You can say anything in politics, but the reality on the ground cannot be denied. The NDA’s success in Magadh and Shahabad is proof of the people’s support.”

This exchange highlights the ongoing war of words between the BJP and RJD in Bihar, particularly in light of recent election results, with both sides gearing up for the 2025 state assembly election.

NDA defeated the Grand Alliance on all four seats of Bihar by-poll:

In the concluded Bihar Assembly by-elections, the NDA achieved a clean sweep, winning all four seats.

The BJP secured victories in Ramgarh and Tarari, while JDU’s Manorama Devi won in Belaganj, and HAM’s Deepa Manjhi emerged victorious in Imamganj.

This marks a significant setback for the RJD, as both Ramgarh and Belaganj were their strongholds, where they suffered a crushing defeat.

The result has bolstered the NDA’s position in Bihar, directly countering the claims made by Tejashwi Yadav of the RJD, who recently expressed confidence in forming the INDIA Alliance government in Bihar by 2025.

Tejashwi Yadav’s optimism based on the success of The INDIA bloc in Jharkhand;

Tejashwi’s optimism was fuelled by the INDIA Alliance’s success in Jharkhand, where the coalition, led by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), secured a victory, and the rJD itself won four seats.

The contrasting outcomes in Bihar and Jharkhand have intensified the political debate, with the NDA touting its victories as evidence of continued public support, while the RJD maintains that the INDIA Alliance will gain momentum as the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections approach.
