Tejashwi Yadav expressed unwavering confidence in defeating NDA in 2025, despite losing by-poll.

Patna November 23, 2024: Rashtriya Janata dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav has expressed unwavering confidence in the Grand Alliance’s prospects for the 2025 Bihar assembly elections, vowing to prevent the NDA from returning to power in the state.

Speaking to the media in Patna after returning from Kolkata, Yadav drew inspiration from the RJD’s success in Jharkhand.

Tejashwi Yadav expressed satisfaction over the Jharkhand result:

‘We are deeply grateful to the people of Jharkhand for their trust and support. Last time, we could win only one seat, but this time, we performed much better, winning four seats and narrowly losing one or two others,” he said.

He also praised Hemant Soren’s leadership, noting his strong mandate as Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Tejashwi Yadav emphasized that the Grand Alliance would regroup and contest future elections with greater vigour.

“There is victory and defeat in elections, but we will address any shortcomings and contest with more strength. The Grand Alliance government will undoubtedly be formed in Bihar in 2025,” he asserted.

Referring to RJD’s recent win in a Lok Sabha by-election, Yadav said, “This victory allows us to prepare better for the challenges ahead. At any cost, the NDA government will not be formed in Bihar in 2025.
