Congress appears to be banking on dynastic faces and defectors to strengthen its fight in Bihar.
By fielding Ajay Nishad, a two-time MP from Muzaffarpur, the party hopes to capitalize on anti-BJP sentiment among Nishad voters.
The Patna Sahib contest between Anshul Abhijit and Ravi Shankar Prasad is expected to draw major attention, given the symbolic weight of the seat and the Kumar family’s political legacy.
With these selections, Congress is aiming to consolidate its position within the INDIA bloc in Bihar ahead of the high-stakes polls.
