Upendra Kushwaha criticized Rahul Gandhi and asked him to focus on states where Congress is in power.
Patna, April 8, 2025: Rashtriya Lok Morcha President and Rajya Sabha MP Upendra Kushwaha took a sharp dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday, questioning his recent focus on Bihar’s employment situation.
Speaking to reporters at Patna Airport, Upendra Kushwaha accused Gandhi of indulging in political optics ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
“Rahul Gandhi is talking about jobs in Bihar. Why doesn’t he first provide jobs in the states where the Congress party is in power? Go there and deliver results,” said Kushwaha.

during election time.
“They ruled the country for 60 years and for RJD. What a mess they created_ everyone knows. No matter what the Grand Alliance does, NDA will return to power in Bihar,” Kushwaha asserted.
Upendra Kushwaha also commented on the recent scuffle between two Congress factions at the party’s state
Headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, on Monday an incident that occurred in the presence of Rahul Gandhi himself.
“This is their internal structure one listens to anyone, and there’s no mutual respect. If a party can’t manage itself, how can it manage a state?” he questioned.
30 or 300 minutes, Padayatra won’t make a difference:
Mocking Rahul Gandhi’s 30-minute Padayatra in Begusarai, Kushwaha said, “Whether it’s 30 minutes or 300, it won’t make any difference. The people of Bihar are not going to be influenced by these gimmicks.”
Rahul Gandhi was on a one-day tour of Bihar on Monday as part of his party’s preparations for the upcoming 2025 Assembly elections, expected to be held in October- November. During his visit, he participated in the ‘Palayan Roko Naukri Do’
Yatra in Begusarai, addressed the Samvidhan Sanrakshan Sammelon at Patna’s Sri Krishna Memorial Hall, and met with Congress leaders at the state headquarters.
