Patna, April 26, 2024: As polling for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections is underway in Bihar, Ajeet Sharma, the Congress candidate of Bhagalpur, cast his vote on Friday. He was accompanied by his wife and daughter, Bollywood actress Neha Sharma.

Neha, who recently campaigned for her father through a road show in Bhagalpur, expressed happiness after voting and appealed to citizens to exercise their franchise.

“Bhagalpur will win. Development will happen. I appeal to people to use their voting rights and vote for the right candidate,” she said.

Ajeet Sharma is contesting against JDU candidate Ajay Mandal:

Neha noted a low voter turnout at the polling station when she arrived and urged residents to come out in larger numbers.

Bhagalpur is witnessing a direct contest between Congress’s Ajeet Sharma and JD(U)’s Ajay Kumar Mandal, making it one of the key battlegrounds in this phase of polling.
