CM Nitish Kumar kicked off a campaign for the NDA candidates in 4 assembly by-polls.

Patna November 9, 2024: CM Nitish Kumar kicks off his campaign for the Bihar assembly by-elections, set for November 13, with an initial focus on Tarari and Ramgarh. He reached Tarari on Saturday to campaign for BJP candidate Prashant Singh.
He is joined by JDU National Working President Sanjay Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Dilip Jaiswal and senior BJP candidates in these constituencies.
CM Nitish Kumar will campaign for the NDA candidates.
CM Nitish Kumar’s campaign will extend to Belaganj and Imamganj on November 10, where JDU’s Manorama Devi is contesting from Belaganj, and Deepa Manjhi, daughter-in-law of HAMS leader Jitan Ram Manjhi, is contesting from Imamganj, the only NDA-held seat among the four in this election.
In Tarari, the BJP has fielded Vishal Prashant, son of the influential figure Sunil Pandey. Despite Sunil Pandey’s 2020 loss to CPI (ML) candidate Sudama Prasad by 13,000 –Pandey’s family has historically held the seat, winning four out of the last six elections since 2000.
With Prasad now an MP, the seat is open, and the BJP is counting on Prashant’s family legacy to reclaim it against the CPI (ML) candidate.
In Ramgarh, BJP candidate Ashok Kumar Singh faces Ajit Kumar, son of RJD state president Jagdanand Singh.
The Singh family is a dominant force in this constituency; in 2020, Jagdanand Singh’s elder son, Sudhakar Singh, won the seat before vacating it to serve as an MP. Singh’s established local influence makes this a challenging race for the BJP.
These by-elections are crucial for both NDA and Grand Alliance, testing the strength of each alliance in key regions.
CM Nitish Kumar’s presence and support for BJP candidates highlight NDA’s unity, while Grand Alliance leaders, including Tejashwi Yadav, are also campaigning actively.
The result of these elections could be indicative of broader political shifts as Bihar heads towards the 2025 state elections.
CM Nitish Kumar will be challenged by Tejashwi Yadav and Prashant Kishor:
The Bihar assembly by-elections have become a high-stakes battle for both the NDA and the Grand Alliance, with each alliance’s reputation on the line.
The entry of Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj has added a new dimension to the contest, potentially reshaping voter dynamics in key constituencies.
Kishor, known for his political strategy expertise, is actively campaigning for Jan Suraj, aiming to attract voters who seek an alternative to traditional party lines.
On the NDA side, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and senior BJP leaders have mobilized to campaign vigorously across Tarari, Ramgarh, Belaganj. and Imamganj, aiming to strengthen the alliance’s foothold and counter the Grand Alliance’s influence.
Meanwhile, grand Alliance leader Tejashwi Yadav, supported by leaders from RJD, CPI (ML), and other allied parties, is engaging actively with voters to reinforce the alliance’s appeal and secure these seats.
The presence of Jan Suraj introduces an unpredictable factor, potentially pulling votes from both major alliances.
