His relentless passion for the craft led him to Mumbai, where he polished his skills further through anchoring on a popular music TV channel for two years, simultaneously immersing himself in the city’s competitive theatre circles. With over 45 Bhojpuri films to his credit, Pankaj became a household name in the Bhojpuri film industry. Some of his most acclaimed films include Baklol Dulha, Parivaar, Vidhaata, Pratigya, Rang De Basanti Chola, Khoon Bhari Maang, Mora Balma Chhail Chhabila, Who Khiladi Who, and Tezaab.

Tollywood and Tamil cinema success:
Expanding his horizons, Pankaj Kesari entered South Indian cinema, making a successful mark in Telgu and Tamil films.
