Patna, June 27, 2025: Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has released a campaign song portraying Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav as “Bihar ka Beta” (son of Bihar), promising a new chapter of change under his leadership.

RJD campaign song explained the vision of the party:

The song outlines key welfare promises including Mai Behan Yojana, employment opportunities for youth, 200 units of tree electricity, a monthly pension of Rs. 1500, improved education and healthcare, industrial development and curbing migration to other states.

The RJD campaign song claims that under an RJD government, Bihar will have an adequate number of doctors in hospitals, world-class treatment facilities, and tighter control over bribery and corruption.

The song also emphasizes uplifting farmers and laborers, describing the upcoming election as a battle to protect the Constitution and democracy.

Through this campaign song, RJD aims to position Tejashwi as a strong, honest, and visionary leader ahead of the polls, targeting youth, women, and marginalized communities.

Tejashwi Yadav seeks 20 months to prove himself:

During a student Parliament event in Patna on Thursday, Tejashwi Yadav made a passionate appeal, urging the youth to give him 20 months to deliver what the NDA government could not achieve in 20 years.

In a symbolic gesture, Tejashwi Yadav distributed pens to students, stating: “Pencil marks can be erased, but pen marks cannot. This pen is for changing Bihar’s destiny.”

The event, attended by a large number of students, highlighted Tejashwi’s emphasis on education, employment, and systematic change as central themes of his campaign.
