Pawan Singh won the Best Actor award in the 19th Bhojpuri Film Award held in Mumbai.

Mumbai December 16, 2024: The 19th Bhojpuri Film Award (BFA) celebrated the vibrant achievements of the Bhojpuri film industry with grandeur and star-studded festivities.

Held at Atharva College in Mumbai, The event witnessed a dazzling congregation of Bhojpuri cinema’s finest Talents, along with prominent dignitaries.

The highlight of the evening was Power Star Pawan Singh, who won the Best Actor Award for his blockbuster film Bewafa Sanam, while Anjana Singh bagged the  Best Actress Award for her exceptional performance in Singh Sahab’s The Rising. In the Best Film category, Nishant Ujjawal’s My Proud of Bhojpuri emerged victorious, solidifying its place as a milestone in Bhojpuri cinema.

The award ceremony was a spectacular blend of entertainment, culture, and cinema, with electrifying performances from superstar artists like Pawan Singh, Ritish Pandey, Samar Singh, Tanu Shri, Anara Gupta, Kajal Yadav, and Aparna Malik, whose lively acts captivated the audience. Hosts and performers like Pandit Prem Prakash Dubey, Raj Soni, Dev Singh, Preeti Maurya, and others added vibrancy to the evening. Anchors KK Goswami, Dev Singh, and Anjana Singh ensured the audience was thoroughly entertained.

The ceremony was officially inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Industry Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, who emphasized the potential of Bhojpuri cinema to achieve greater heights. His presence, alongside luminaries such as Padma Bhusan Udit Narayan, IMPA leaders Abhay Sinha and TP Aggarwal actor, underscored the growing significance of Bhojpuri cinema. Founder of the awards, Vinod Kumar Gupta, praised Nandi’s unwavering support for Bhojpuri artists including Pawan Singh and the people of Purvanchal, highlighting how this ceremony continues to inspire the industry.
