Bihar board class 10th result released, 82.91% students passed the examination.

Patna, March 31, 2024: The Bihar board (Bihar School Examination Board) on Sunday announced the result of the class 10 board examinations, recording a pass percentage of 82.91% this year.

Bihar Board Chairman Anand Kishore said the exams were conducted from February 15 to February 23, with 16,94,781 students registered—comprising 8,22,578 boys and 8,72,194 girls.

“The examination and its result were prepared in just 37 days,” Kishore said while releasing the result.

He announced that Shivankar Kumar topped the rank in the state, followed by Adarsh Kumar in second position, Aditya Kumar, Suman Kumar, Palak Kumari, Shazia Parveen have identical marks and come in third position, Ajit Kumar and Rahul Kumar achieved 4^th rank, Hari Kumar, Sejal Kumari, Sania Kumari and Anamika Kumari on the fifth rank.

This year, swift evaluation and early declaration reflect the board’s efforts to streamline the examination process.

Bihar board announced the results of the class 12 (Intermediate) examination on March 23.

This year, the overall pass percentage across all streams has risen to 87.21% marking an improvement from last year.

Stream-wise pass percentage:

According to the Bihar board chairman Anand Kishore, 87.80% students passed in science, 86.15% in arts, 94.88% in commerce and 85.38% in vocational courses.

A total of 5,24939 students came in the first division, 5,04,897 students in the second division and 96,595 students in the third division.

A total of 12,91,689 students appeared for the examination this year.

The Bihar board Inter 2024 exams were held from February 1 to February 12, and the BSEB released the MCQ answer key on March 2.

Impressively, the results were declared within just 21 days of the exam’s completion, following BSEB’s trend of swift evaluation.
