Sachin Pilot criticized the Bihar government over youth issues ahead on the 2025 assembly polls.

Patna April 11, 2025: Former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot reached Patna on Friday to join the concluding leg of the ‘Palayan Roko, Naukri Do Yatra’, led by congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar.
The yatra, focused on addressing youth unemployment and mass migration from Bihar, is part of a broader initiative by the Congress party to highlight governance failures under the Nitish Kumar-led state government and the Narendra Modi-led central government.
As part of the final day of the campaign, around 5,000 Congress workers joined the March towards the Chief Minister’s residence, led by Sachin Pilot and Kanhaiya Kumar, to register a peaceful and democratic protest.
Speaking to reporters at Patna airport, Sachin Pilot launched a scathing attack on the state government saying:
“Palayan Roko, Naukri Do is more than a slogan—it’s a movement. Through this Yatra, the Youth Congress has traveled hundreds of kilometers to bring attention to the turmoil in governance and the government’s indifference towards the youth.”
Sachin Pilot further accused both the central and state governments of ignoring pressing youth issues, alleging widespread irregularities in recruitment processes and paper leak scandals.

“The Bihar and central governments have betrayed its youth. The dreams of thousands have been crushed. This yatra is our way of seeking accountability. The Congress party is standing shoulder to shoulder with the youth of his country,” said Pilot.
He also reiterated that the protest near the Vidhan Sabha and CM’s residence would be peaceful:
“Rahul Gandhi always says that Congress stands with the youth. We are fighting their battle in the streets and in the legislatures,” he added.
Recently, Rahul Gandhi also participated in the Yatra during its stop in Begusarai, where he sharply criticized both the state and central governments. The Congress is positioning Kanhaiya Kumar as a rising youth leader in Bihar, aiming to revive and strengthen the party’s grassroots presence in the state.
