Pawan Singh will contest the election from Karakat Lok Sabha seat in Bihar.

Patna: Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh has decided to contest the Lok Sabha election from Bihar’s Karakat seat on Wednesday.

“Mother is much heavier than this land. I promised to my mother that I will contest this Lok Sabha election. I have decided to contest the Lok Sabha election 2024 from Karakat, Bihar. Jay Mata Di,” Pawan Singh said

The contest of karakat is turning out triangular after the decision of power star Pawan Singh. Upendra Kushwaha, the national president of Rashtriya Lok Morcha is a candidate of NDA from this seat while CPI ML has given the ticket to Rajaram Singh to contest here as a candidate of grand alliance. These two leaders belong to the Kushwaha community while Pawan Singh belongs to an upper caste family.

Earlier, BJP had given the ticket to Pawan Singh to contest the Lok Sabha election from Asansol West Bengal but he refused. Now, BJP has given the ticket to SS Ahluwalia to contest the Lok Sabha election 2024 from Asansol.
