Patna July 17: Patna police arrested a man with ammunition and explosive materials from Kurji locality on Wednesday.

Patna Police raid: During the raid, Patna police seized 35 live cartridges, potassium nitrate powder, charcoal powder, a body protector (Bullet Proof Jacket), Sutli (Jute rope) and an army uniform.

“A team of Rupaspur police station, with the assistance of Digha police conducted a raid in the house of Mithilesh Mahto located in gate number 71 of Kurji locality. Rupaspur police were searching for him in the case of an E-Riskshah theft. During the raid, Mithilesh Mahto was not present in the house. When the police team searched his house, they were shocked to see such a large number of live cartridges and explosive materials,” Pandey said.

One Accused arrested: “We have arrested Mithilesh’s brother Pawan Mahto who was present in the house. During the brief questioning, he said that two persons had come to his house a few days prior and left the ammunition and explosive materials. The investigation is underway,” Pandey said.

“We are making efforts to arrest Mithilesh Mahto. He is on the run,” he added. EOM.
