Patna May 12: After Lalu Prasad Yadav took a dig at PM Narendra Modi on his roadshow, JD-U Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar retaliated on him and said whenever he says anything, NDA’s votes increase.
“Whenever Lalu Prasad Yadav says anything, NDA’s votes increase. He should give the account of his rule. What did he do when he ran the government in Bihar,” Jha said.
“All the industrialists, doctors, hoteliers and traders left Bihar during his tenure. They had made Bihar like this. Hence there is no point in his words. This is a one-sided election. CM Arvind Kejriwal has also said that the NDA government will be formed the government in the country and Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister. Now people of his alliance are saying that Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister. Everyone has accepted it,” Jha said.
Samrat Choudhary, the BJP state president and deputy chief minister of Bihar said: “Lalu Prasad Yadav only cares about his family. He brought his tourist daughter. Her entire family fled during Jungle Raj, It is the effect of good governance of Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar that the family members of Lalu Prasad Yadav are returning to Bihar.”
“Lalu Prasad Yadav does not know our government is restarting 14 closed sugar mills and it is a contribution of the Narendra Modi government only. The Modi government itself had approved making ethanol. Lalu Prasad Yadav was in jail so he would not remember anything and what would a convicted man know,” Choudhary said.
Earlier, Lalu Prasad Yadav taunted PM Narendra Modi and said Bihar has brought them on the street after the first three phases of the election and it will force them to roam in lanes in the remaining four phases of the Lok Sabha election. He is doing the roadshow after a dismal performance in the first three phases of the Lok Sabha election. He further said what the benefit of Bihar is from his road show.
Lalu Prasad Yadav also said that PM Narendra Modi had promised in 2014 that he would open a sugar mill and drink tea made of sugar that is produced from this mill. 10 years have gone by, what happened to that promise? He failed to open a small sugar mill in the state as per his promise. He has not been able to fulfill even an iota of his big promises in the last 10 years.
PM Narendra Modi will do a roadshow in Patna later in the day. The route of the roadshow is under the close watch of the security agencies.
PM Narendra Modi will start the roadshow from Dak Bungalow Chowk, SP Verma Road, Exhibition Road, Uma Cinema Hall, Kadam Kuan, Sahitya Sammelan Bhawan, Thakurbari Road, Bakarganj and culminate at Udyog Bhawan.
