Mukesh Sahini ruled out joining the NDA Alliance and backed Tejashwi for the CM post after the 2025 polls.

Patna April 16, 2025: Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani made it clear that he will not join the NDA under any circumstances, asserting that the next government in Bihar will be formed under Tejashwi Yadav’s leadership.
“I feel pity for the BJP. My party was broken, my MLAs were broken. There is no question of going to NDA,” Sahini said, adding, “Nitish Kumar is tired now. Bihar’s future should be in the hands of youth leadership.”
Mukesh Sahini reaffirmed his loyalty to the Mahagathbandhan INDIA bloc) and announced that he will attend the alliance meeting tomorrow, where seat-sharing discussions will take place.
Mukesh Sahini’s electoral strategy:
Highlighting his ambitions, Mukesh Sahini said: Our preparation is underway for all 243 seats. Every party prepares its own roadmap and so as us. The Nishad community knows who represents them. They are with VIP.”
He also made a public suggestion to NDA allies and said that Chirag Paswan should contest 50 seats Jitan Ram Manjhi should contest 20-50 seats in the upcoming Bihar assembly election.
Former IPS Nurul Hoda Joins VIP:
A major addition to Mukesh Sahini’s political force is former IPS officer Md. Nurul Hoda, took voluntary retirement and joined VIP on Wednesday.
A 1995 batch IPS officer, Hoda is known for his work in railway security and Anti-Naxal operations.

“There is a leadership crisis among Muslims in Bihar. I want to end socio-economic disparities and promote education,” Hoda said.
Hoda, a resident of Sitamarhi, is highly educated, fluent in multiple languages Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Persian, and English, and brings administrative experience and community credibility to the VIP.
Following in the footsteps of Shivdeep Lande, who recently launched his own political party ‘Hind Sena,’ Huda’s entry into politics marks a growing trend of bureaucrats-turned-politicians in Bihar.
This shift could reshape caste equations, influence minority voters, and bring law-and-order credibility to smaller parties like VIPs.
